What the job entails:
- Work alongside the marketing team to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns such as email, event, social media and print marketing.
- Create, proof read and edit copy for various marketing channels.
- Design both print and digital signs/videos for in house marketing.
- Assist with developing and managing content within various social media platforms.
- Create regular content and engagement for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok as well as other various social media platforms on behalf of our brand.
- Work directly with local news media organizations to release stories and develop public relations.
- Coordinate various general public and private corporate events, from booking to providing day-of-event support including overseeing logistics, coordinating timelines with clients and vendors, set ups/clean up, collaborate with management and create event specific marketing materials. You’ll act as the event point of contact, the front of house go-to person, be constantly communicating and multitasking- and have a lot of fun doing it!
- Answer customer questions/complaints via phone, email and social media.
- Assist in providing customer phone support or trouble shooting online ticketing purchases.
Requirements:
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices including social, digital and event marketing.
- Must be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must have a high level of creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A great communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Prior event management and sales experience.
- An excellent knowledge base of technology in general, how it functions and the ability to troubleshoot various technical issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suit as well as various basic level graphic design and video editing software/apps.
- Flexibility, since every day here is different! Due to the unique nature of this role, you’ll need a willingness to work some weekends and/or holidays during the busy season.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
