Marketing Assistant

Work with educators and administrators within schools. Helping them prepare for retirement by understanding the pension and retirement plans. Offer 403(b) TSA (tax sheltered annuity) and 457 EDC (Employer deferred compensation) products. *similar to 401K
- Marketing to Schools
- Schedule school visits
- Create staff lists of existing clients and new prospects
- Generate flyers (mailbox stuffers)
- Email staff prior to representative’s visit
- Run overview report and client quote for each district in Salesforce (client database)
- Marketing to existing and prospective clients
- By e-mail, social media (i.e. Linkedin, Facebook) My Marketing Station (an internal program that uses e-ads and flyers
- Use our client database Salesforce to run reports to market by specific criteria such as:
- Conduct Annual Reviews
- Clients approaching retirement age
- Specific target audience of clients to take advantage of other products/investments.
- We can offer such products as managed money or multiyear guaranteed annuities
- Additional products: Life Insurance, Long Term Care
- After running reports call existing clients to schedule meetings
The base salary range for this position is $41,000-$59,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Skills
Communication: Understanding of the importance of insightful listening and communicating and ability to provide information and messages in a way that produces clarity and impact.
Confidentiality: Knowledge of practices and policies governing disclosure of information about the organization, its business activities, and employees; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Knowledge of Insurance Operations: Knowledge of the full spectrum of activities, practices, tools and considerations for insurance operations; ability to apply knowledge of insurance operations to provide administrative support to the insurance business.
Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
