Marketing Campaign Writer – Debt.com
Debt.com is on a mission to help Americans with their debt problems and provide information and resources for getting out of debt, staying out of debt, and making smart personal money management decisions.
The Debt.com team is seeking a bright, motivated, team player to join us. We are looking for a marketing campaign/adverting copywriter who has a gift for bringing stories to life while optimizing content across channels based on performance.
Lead-gen and direct response writing is essential as is being a brand focused professional who creates compelling original marketing/adverting content.
You'll work with teams to drive engagement and ensure our brand shines on a variety of channels - web, email, social and paid media, print and event/tradeshow materials. Creativity and attention to detail are critical for success.
What you'll do (Responsibilities):
- Work with the marketing teams to craft content and understand objectives, key messages, and target audiences
- Work closely with campaign marketers and stakeholders to bring their vision to life with copy that's actionable, engaging and on-brand
- Craft advertising messages and content marketing pieces for a variety of media, including websites, blogs, emails, sales collateral, and more
- Collaborate with departments (e.g. web, email, social) to understand channel-specific best practices, rules of the road, and suggested enhancements
- Work with the campaign team to analyze, test, and optimize content performance
- Review content for brand continuity, voice, tone, and grammar
- Collaborate with graphic design and video teams on marketing campaign assets
- Manage project timelines
Marketing Campaign Writer Qualifications
- Writing samples
- 5+ years' experience in content writing/marketing/advertising/technology
- Self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with proper communication
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Overall digital marketing, content strategy, and channel strategy knowledge
- Project and time management expertise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
