Job Summary
The
Marketing Events Coordinator will be based in
Fremont, CA
with flexible work from home days. In this position, you will report to the Marketing Events Manager. If you’re looking for start-up speed at a solar company with the bankability and profitability of a world-class solar market leader, this is the role for you.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do...
- Assist with end-to-end planning, production, and execution of trade shows and events globally
- Support driving brand awareness at trade shows and events for our key customers worldwide
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Help with managing event marketing budgets, while using ERP tools like NetSuite for processing purchase orders, tracking payments, and adding new vendors
- Manage back-end logistics and planning for marketing sponsorship, speaking opportunities, and webinars
- Help maintain our internal project management tool, Monday.com and coordinate with vendors and agency partners as needed
- Support strong relationships with vendors, event organizations, and media/agency partners
- Assist with various internal employee initiatives and events as needed
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
- BA in marketing, communications or business or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of trade show/event experience
- Solid understanding of integrated marketing principles, campaigns, and strategies for global B2B and regional/country market strategic marketing development
- Experience with marketing project management tools like Monday.com, Asana, and similar tools
- Understanding of event marketing budgets and accounting management apps
- Capability to build cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels, with outstanding professionalism and commitment to customer experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with care given to each, along with strong attention to detail
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills to ensure brand consistency across all messaging and external communications
- Strong work ethic: self-motivated with a desire to take initiative
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to events as required including occasional evenings and weekends
- Strong event marketing and trade show management capabilities
- Proficiency executing on trade show related logistics, including hotel room blocks, conference room booking, service orders, and booth materials
- Keen visual event design aesthetic while maintaining brand consistency worldwide
- Proven ability to effectively build and maintain relationships across highly cross-functional teams including sales, product, and engineering
- Ability to support agency relationships while working closely with regional field marketers
- Understanding of the renewable energy landscape, types of customers, and policy changes
- Strong coordination and collaboration skills with fundamental project management skills
- High organizational skills and a self-starter; meticulous attention to detail and follow-through

$71,500.00 USD - $98,300.00 USD Annual
