Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist coordinates and implements various marketing projects with responsibilities that include proper promotion assignments, email marketing, social media, advertising and creating and managing timelines.

Essential Position Functions:

• Execution of promotional campaigns to participants via all online channels
• Assists the Marketing Director in managing the marketing activities and programs for the organization.
• Manages production timelines of all marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate and assist with the marketing activities of a product or business initiative which may include advertising, direct mailing or customer events including expos and conferences.
• Execution of various social media promotions and bi-weekly social media postings, and constant review of company’s social media presence.
• Key point of contact for all marketing requests, needs, and questions.
• Oversee dozens of projects including email, online, social, and print marketing.
• Will plan events for customers, schools, etc., throughout the U.S.

Education/Experience:

• High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook.
• A college degree of BS or BA or higher.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and resolution skills.
• Personable with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to deliver against deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and projects through cross-functional teams.
• Experience and familiarity with Basecamp, Trello and/or other project management applications.
• Ability to translate positioning strategy into creative strategy and execution.
