The New Client Acquisition Marketing Intern role is a great opportunity for students interested in a 10-week internship provides valuable work experience for a successful start to any Marketing career. The New Client Acquisition Marketing Intern will support the Advisor Success Marketing team by working first-hand on new client acquisition and nurture initiatives for AssetMark, learning how to use data to make decisions that impact how and what we do to contribute to the firm’s overall growth goals.
Objectives:
- Challenging work assignments designed to stretch your abilities and learning opportunities with top AssetMark leaders
- Exposure to lead generation, client acquisition, and nurture initiatives and assist with the development of new campaigns and marketing collateral
- Guided project management experience, utilizing industry-leading software programs
- Insights into B2B sales cycle and how marketing effectively supports company growth
- Creation of a final project and presentation that brings real-life experiences and data to life
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current lead generation and client acquisition campaigns and utilize data to tell a cohesive story and outline recommended next steps
- Assist with the development of content to support lead and new client nurture experiences through email, social media, and web channels
- Work with our Marketing and Sales and Consulting teams to help create relevant marketing collateral
- Attend and assist with meetings
- Learn the sales cycle and how marketing effectively supports sales with revenue-generating marketing practices
- Develop project plans from start to finish and follow up on outstanding project deliverables
- Incorporate all your learnings into a final presentation that brings your experience to life
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or exposure to the financial services industry is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with or exposure to project management tools, CMS, and CRMs (experience with Wrike, HubSpot, and Salesforce is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
Education & Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; will consider recent graduates
- Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Internship Details
Hourly wage: $15.50 per hour
Internship Duration: June 12, 2023 – August 18, 2023
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
