Job description
  • Execute (food and human) safety practices and procedures
  • Provide support to internal customer service (production)
  • Load palletizer/s with empty pallets, remove pallet from FG pallets from the palletizer lines in a timely manner to avoid production bottom neck or eliminate line stoppage
  • Operate shrink wrap machines
  • Operate label and ribbon printer
  • Create and apply accurate FG label for correct FG materials for scanning/shipping
  • Perform manual labor (include apply corner boards, slip sheets, additional labels
  • Operate RF scanner/VMU functions
  • Load outbound trucks materials to ensure factory fresh appearance, maintain quality, and damage free
  • Responsible for trailer inspection
  • Maintain forklift certification (sit down forklift only)
  • Proper movement, rack storage, staging, and truck loading
  • Checks materials for shortages or damage
  • Report to lead/supervisor and correct any FG shortages or damages immediately
  • Stacks pallets, arranges materials as directed, while adhering to safety guidelines
  • Complete paperwork legibly and accurately
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment according to 5S guideline
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read in English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions. Simple use of computer scanning devices, adjustable measuring instruments. Check reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation requires basic skills knowledge.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Able to work in a team focused environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Obtain forklift certification (sit down, stand-up, stand-up reach and order picker equipment).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.75 per hour
