Acara solutions is looking for a Material Inventory Support Specialist for our client located in Cary, NC
- This position will be responsible for the monitoring and facilitation of tool & test equipment receipt, inventory, and returns in both the Imaging and Diagnostic field organizations.
- The Inventory Support Specialist will monitor a comprehensive materials dashboard, which provides information on the end-to-end flow of materials, and will directly communicate with the appropriate entities to ensure materials are picked up, inventoried, and or returned to stock in compliance with the tool and test equipment program.
- Key interactions for this position would be with Customer Service Engineers, Regional Service Managers (RSM), Zone Vice Presidents (ZVP), 3rd Party Logistics provider (DHL), FedEx, calibration provider, and the Tool Center staff.
- Monitor materials dashboard
- Tools and test equipment awaiting pickup
- Materials receipt confirmation
- Calibrated tools and test equipment periodicity
- Duplicate tools within CSE inventories
- Monitor calibrated tool returns to tool calibration provider
- Communicate with appropriate party as outlined in key interactions
- Ensure tools and test equipment are picked up from FedEx in a timely manner
- Ensures CSEs that have physically received tools conducts a confirmation receipt scan
- Coordinates with CSEs for the return of duplicate and aged tools when identified
- Coordinates and conducts tools and test equipment inventories with CSEs
- Assists to resolve tools and test equipment inventory discrepancies
- Informs the Inventory Management group on any shipping issues
- Conducts analysis of tools and test equipment dashboard for metrics
- Tracks outstanding action items and corrective actions
- Performs tools and test equipment inventory discrepancy research
- Corrects tool order failures within SAP
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is $ 25.50 per hour (Max Pay rate).
- At least a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in dashboards, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in outlined above with emphasis in inventories and research
