The main objective of this role is ensuring high-quality forecasting and efficiently procuring materials from suppliers. You are responsible for maintaining the demand history and adapting delivery schedule agreements to ensure on time deliveries and material availability at point of use. The understanding of the impact correct master data has on planning and the ability to interact effectively with the stakeholders will be critical for this role. The ability to make correct decisions based on analysis and experience; combined with actual data entry in a timely manner is the key to achieving the objectives of this position. Success factors include short response time on alert monitors, forecasting accuracy and availability.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and acting on late/early deliveries and other warnings/alerts
• Verifying and securing correct parameter settings and master data
• Responsible for optimal inventory level
• Analyze current forecast situations while considering system-generated forecasts, historic demand, trends, and deviations
• Volume estimation for parts on Initial Stock List
• Create manual initial forecast or initial phase in forecast with right phase in group
• Make logistical analysis.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and precision
• Work with suppliers on corrective actions and recovery plans
• Identify and propose areas to analyze
• Includes knowledge on where to find relevant data, how to retrieve it, validation of relevance, correctness, and completeness of data
• Includes competence to perform calculations or to feed systems that calculate or simulate based on retrieved data and to analyze and draw conclusions based on the calculations.
• Includes competence to compile and present findings and possible recommendations
• Execute Surplus & Obsolescence

Competence

• Excellent knowledge in logistics and stock management both practical and theoretical
• Communication skills (Ability to work in international or multi-cultural environment and achieve stakeholder buy-in)
• Ability to work independently (High personal drive)
• Have good knowledge in the complete supply chain from Customer to Supplier both from a process point of view and also from a systems point of view (or keen to learn within these areas).

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, PPT, Word), project management and presentation software.
• Proficiency in various information systems such as (SAP, EBD, IMS, and VISUAL).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willing to learn and share knowledge with others.
• Punctual, self-motivated, independent, and strong team player.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
