Responsibilities
Analyzing lab testing is pretty complex. We depend on our Medical Technologist's knowledge and skills when it comes to evaluating medical lab tests to determine what's happening with our patients. They are vital to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Love working in the lab and analyzing results? Connect with CHI today!
What you'll do:
Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal, to determine the presence of normal or abnormal components
Collect biological specimens from patients
Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis
Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage: Lab
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required: Post High School Education or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Preferred: 1-2 years
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), (NAACLS) or equivalent

CHI St. Joseph Health Madison Hospital is located Madisonville TX and is a 30 bed critical access hospital. Our Emergency Room consists of 5 beds.
Since 1936 CHI St. Joseph Health has been caring for the communities of Bryan, College Station, Brenham, Hearne, Navasota, Caldwell, and Madisonville.
