We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse that will be responsible for delivering on our experience promise and help to rebuild confidence in our ability to protect the communities we serve through flawless execution of lab testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Team Creating the Right environment

· Ensure testing protocols (test tubes, labels etc.) are properly set up in advance of administering a test as well as properly secured once testing is complete

· Actively engages patient to explain testing procedures and deliver outstanding patient care during testing

· Participates in regular inventory procedures and alerts Nurse Practitioner and Experience Manager know when testing supplies are low and need replenishing

· Properly cleans testing room after test administration and sets up testing room for next patient

Results Achieving Measurable Results and Financial Performance

· Review patient profiles to ensure appropriate information is gathered to administer testing; care is taken when entering patient data into the EMR

· Flawlessly executes all lab testing protocols and administration of tests; ensures that the right order is sent for each patient

· Conducts daily and weekly rotational team assignments to ensure patient forms are sent to patients, completed and received by patients; negative test results are properly communicated to patients and positive test results are escalated to Nurse Practitioner and Experience Manager for further communication with patients

· Trouble-shoots basic patient portal issues to ensure patient information is properly gathered and managed; they aim to provide patients with solutions to common procedural issues

· They are able to answer all patient questions regarding health related services; They have deep knowledge of the “why” and “how” as it relates to health services

· They approach their job with a “patient first” attitude; they always provide the patient with patience, care, and respect

Minimum Qualifications

· Prior testing and 1 year of patient facing experience required

· Must be detail oriented, naturally inquisitive and a proactive problem solver

· Must have a proven track record of demonstrating initiative to resolve patient or customer issues

· Prior experience working with HIPAA protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Salt Lake City, UT 84122: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Medical Assistant Diploma (Required)
