Agility Orthopedics is seeking medical assistants or athletic trainers to provide clinical support to the physicians and other clinical staff, including each other. The medical assistant have an strong impact on our patient's experience by assisting in their flow throughout the clinic as well as assisting in their examination and treatment. Our growing practice is looking for the team players that love to learn and grow to join our growing practice. We are very happy to train!

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with orthopedic surgeons to coordinate the care of patients

- Prepare injection for the physician or physician assistant/nurse practitioner

- Anticipate the needs of the medical providers and patients while facilitating a smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience

- Provide patients with educational resources to further their understanding of medical conditions

- Cast application and removal - (Training offered on site)

- Fitting patients with braces / DME and explaining their proper use and care

- Basic Vital Signs

· Comfortable with use of EMRs, Epic and/or GE Centricity preferred

Work Location:

  • This position is located in Stoneham, MA but candidates must be willing to work a full day or travel to our second location in Malden, MA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
