Medical Assistant (Pain Management) - Float

NY Health (NYH) is excited to expand our medical services to include the Center for Urology, Primary Care, The Nephrology Center and The Department of Physical Therapy. With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.
This is a float position
In this role you will:
- Be willing and able to float as needed.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs
- Record accurate patient information
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments
- Provide assistance to physicians during examinations
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Perform venipuncture & Point of care testing
- Administer EKGs
We require:
- Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma at least 1 year of experience
- Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred
- Proficiency in Word/Excel
Hours: Monday–Friday and alternating Saturdays
Salary up $24 per hour.
