Job description
Medical Biller/Collector (full-time) needed for pain management medical practice in Massapequa. We are looking for a reliable, well organized medical biller/collector to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have experience in medical billing and collecting, insurance verification for benefits for specialties, using insurance portals, prior authorizations, and accounts receivable. And MUST have experience doing IN-HOUSE BILLING. Great salary and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
- Posting payments, charges
- Verifying Insurance benefits for all specialties (PT, Chiro, Pain Management, Orthopedics)
- Sending claims. Following up on denials, resubmissions, appeals.
- Obtaining authorizations for therapy visits, procedures and medications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
