Medical Billing Coordinator

TLC Kids Therapy is seeking a Billing Specialist. We are a therapist owned pediatric clinic that provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA services. The position's main purpose to is to ensure billing for patient’s visits to primary and secondary private insurance companies is completed daily. In addition to checking for errors in billing through EOBs, and be able to communicate with clients to maintain referrals.

Additional tasks may be given based on the need of the department.

Must have:

• At least 1 year of hands on billing experience.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experience with EMR system(s)
• Experience with Billing and Coding
• Basic Computer Skills
• Experience with Superior HealthPlans (preferred)

Daily duties consist of:

• Working with Superior HealthPlans
• Insurance Verification
• Referrals and Authorization
• Submission of Claims
• Follow HIPPA compliance when communicating with patients, parents, and staff members

Starting Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
