Job description

Responsible for collecting paper work, creating charts (physically and electronically), filing, and copying records. Must be able to maintain supply levels for the department and obtain appropriate approvals in advance. The chosen applicant will also possess the ability to organize and communicate (via phone, secure fax, e-mail, on-site visits) with internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with Jail Medical guidelines. Must be able to multi-task, work individually, and work within a team environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license, have access to reliable transportation, and provide a copy of current automobile liability insurance coverage. Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of consistently interacting with colleagues, within a team environment, and with the public in general. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but is not required. Must be proficient with operating a personal computer and standard office software (Excel/Word/etc.). Must pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
