At Advocate Radiation Oncology our mission is ‘patients first’. Our Medical Front Desk Greeter is one of the first points of contact to provide a variety of support to patients and doctors through a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include greeting incoming patients and their families along with vendors and other visitors. Answering the phones, calling for medical records, entering patient data, scanning in medical records, scheduling appointments, and taking payments. There will also be the occasion to fully cover the front desk, back up the medical assistants, or to physically maneuver a patient with the therapists, and anything else that may be needed.

Experience using both an EMR as well as a practice management system is required; and having the ability to manage multiple tasks when several other activities are going at the same time. Front desk experience in an oncology practice is preferred. Having more than three full, consecutive years of medical front desk experience will be an absolute requirement for any applicant to be seriously considered.
