Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medicare Regulatory Specialist for HCPro to teach our Medicare Boot Camps® and Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster Boot Camp® and to provide update calls, expert answers and guidance through our Propel Advisory Services to clients with varied service lines. Candidates would also be expected to partner with fellow regulatory instructors and the HCPro product team to identify and launch new training resources, including boot camps, seminars, eLearning, webcasts, and books.

The Medicare and Revenue Integrity Boot Camps® are variable length live and virtual courses on Medicare coverage, billing, coding, and payment for hospitals, health systems and physicians. The courses are technically-oriented and focus on the Medicare regulations and guidelines which requires a high level of Medicare technical knowledge.

The Propel Advisory Services provides a varied of benefits tailored to organizational needs, including monthly update calls, on-call ask the expert question and answer service and other resources to organizations ranging in size from critical access hospitals to large health systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and maintaining HCPro’s Medicare Boot Camp – Critical Access Hospital Version® and/or Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster Boot Camp – Critical Access Hospital Version®
  • Teaching other HCPro Medicare Boot Camps® and Revenue Integrity and Chargemaster Boot Camps®
  • Must be a dynamic public speaker with extensive knowledge of, and practical experience with, Medicare and Critical Access Hospital coverage, billing, coding, and payment requirements
  • Researching and keeping up-to-date with Medicare regulations, requirements, and best practices
  • Contributing to projects in a wide variety of publishing mediums
  • Assist in development of new products and enhancement of existing products to achieve company objectives
  • Recommend new products or improvements based on customer market and competitor activities
  • Obtain and communicate customer feedback to product team
  • Maintain a strong market knowledge and cultivate relationships with sources and customers
  • Stay abreast with industry and market trends
  • Represent company products in tradeshows, seminars, campaigns and other sales events

The Individual:

  • Advanced professional credentials (JD, MBA, CHC, etc.) desirable

Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel required
  • Bachelor's degree and significant adult education experience required; Master’s degree preferred
