Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel – Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Production Supervisor for our Melt Shop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a production team while establishing a culture of safety awareness, team development, quality production, and continuous improvement.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years of steelmaking manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Melt Shop LMF Production Experience
