Membership Administration Supervisor

What You’ll Do: As our Membership Administration Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction for the business operations of the membership activities. You will be responsible for assigning and monitoring staff workflow, developing department and individual metrics, assisting in professional development, and preparing and delivering employee performance appraisals. You will be leading a team of approximately 8 Member Service Representatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve operating efficiencies by monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing workflows, as well as implementing policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness of membership information processing. At times, you may be involved with changes and enhancements to multiple systems by preparing testing documentation.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Associates degree or equivalent plus three years of relevant experience required. Experience in billing and/or call center operations is a plus.
  • One to two years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding state/federal insurance regulations.
  • AINS or API series certification required within two years.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, cost management and analytical skills are required.
  • Effective communication, decision making and planning/organizing skills required.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn multiple systems.
