Bermex has immediate openings for motivated individuals to read utility meters in the Gwinnett County area. The job involves reading and recording utility meters on an established routes. You must be able to work unsupervised in an outside environment, which involves walking long distances in all weather conditions. This is a general labor position. Immediate need.
Characteristics of Work:
- Requires extensive walking (10 to 12 miles per day)
- Environmental Conditions: The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions, rain, snow, extreme heat and/or cold, noise, darkness and poor lighting conditions.
- Examples of Required Activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, hearing and repetitive motion. Must be in good physical condition and able to life 20 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- You must possess a valid driver's license that is clear of driving infractions.
- A background investigation and DOT drug testing will be conducted
We offer:
- Full time work Monday through Friday.
- Starting salary $17.00 per hour.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include Paid Time Off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.
