Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions (OES), a CRH company, has united the Carson®, Christy®, and Synertech® brands to form the largest manufacturer of plastic, polymer, and concrete utility enclosure products serving the municipal water, irrigation, electric, communications, and transportation markets. OES has 11 manufacturing and distribution centers strategically located across the U.S. and Canada.

Job Description Summary

The Mix Handler is responsible for moving buckets of “mix” to the production cells: polymer concrete boxes, covers, and pads. The Mix Handler keeps the caster supplied with mix, as needed, to eliminate waiting.

Responsibilities

• Follow All Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies and Guidelines
• Actively Participate in Company’s Continuous Improvement Programs
• Ability to read and interpret mixer scale
• Identify safety hazards in the work area
• Perform TPM checklist daily on the mixer
• Rotate buckets as needed, keeping the “acceptable” buckets and discarding the others
• Assist with daily mixing of the aggregate, multiple times per shift
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong attention to details
• Basic math skills
• Good Time Management
• Good Communicator
• Must be able to stand & walking for long durations, up to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment
