Job description

We are seeking highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable independent contractors who have the required health care certificates or licenses to join our team as specimen collectors. The main responsibilities for this role include collecting specimens at the sites and shipping the samples from the sites to the laboratory. This work offers an exciting opportunity for candidates who have a flexible schedule and/or would like to have a supplemental income.

This is a “self-scheduling” position based on the contractor’s schedules and flexibility. Pay is per trip/job roughly based on the time spent and travel mileage. The service area is the candidate’s town/city or around areas.

Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

· Meet clients at the sites at the scheduled time.

· Follow established protocols for collecting and/or handling specimens.

· Record and document all specimen collection locations, and the date/time of collection.

· Ensure that all specimens are collected, properly labeled, sent, and received by the lab.

· Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself and others.

· Communicate with individuals/patients to explain the specimen collection process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Job Requirements:

· One of the following health care certificates or licenses is required: phlebotomist, PCT, CNA, CMA, OMT, CDA, LPN/RN.

· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

· Reliable vehicle and valid insurance.

· Smart phone with texting and application capabilities.

· Self-motivated, reliable, independent, and professional.

· Proven time management, organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

· Must pass drug testing and background check.

Job Types: Contract, PRN

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• On call
