Job Title: Multi-Skill Millwright

A Millwright is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing environment. In this role, the individual will spend the majority of their time troubleshooting and repairing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and must have the ability to interpret drawings related to the installation and operation of machinery and equipment. They will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance. In depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, welding, rigging and pipe fitting along with a high mechanical aptitude is desired. The millwright will also be responsible for observing all safety regulations and all required PPE. This position requires an individual who is self-directed and capable of running projects with little or no instruction.

Work Schedule:

This position works a 12 hour shift; must be able to work any shift (day or night) on a 2-2-3 continuous operation work schedule which will include Saturdays and Sundays (2 on, 2 off, 3 on; on a repeating schedule).

Work environment:

The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory. The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, and noisy.

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Basic qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· 3 years equivalent experience

· Machine repair experience

· Must be able to pass a urine based drug screen and background check

· Must successfully pass an approved aptitude test administered by an outside party.
