Schedule: Mon – Sat Flex Overview:
2. Maximizes the penetration of Credit Union business products and services in order to meet/exceed established sales goals and baselines.
3. Responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls while using effective sales techniques assesses members' current business and personal financial needs by using effective relationship building and consultative sales techniques.
4. Responsible for finalizing business account applications opened at the branch and communicating with the business members to gather all necessary documentation to complete the account opening process.
5. Make appropriate recommendations for loans, deposits, and other products and services
6. Highly motivated and both sales and goal oriented
7. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with credit union personnel and with management
8. Evaluates loan applications and credit criteria and determines whether to continue the process or refer the member to another lender. Makes counter offers. Approves members’ applications for loans within established limits.
9. Identify additional cross-sell opportunities, such as refinances from other financial institutions.
10. Demonstrate professional sales skills to achieve individual and departmental goals. Qualifications:

Tact, sales skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are required for the successful execution of this job. Ability to attain and exceed expected baselines in sales and service. Must be self-motivated and have a great work ethic.

Training/Education/Certification:

High school graduate or equivalent
Required Knowledge:

Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures -
Knowledge of credit union lending procedures including automated loan systems

Is competent in all essential computer applications required for the development of CU business, and related to increased profitability of Credit Unions

Understanding of Member Development techniques

MS Office software applications
Experience Required:

Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive credit union experience a must, preferably in product promotion, sales (in person and over the phone) and demonstrated superior member service skills. -
Some new account and loan experience for consumer and business is preferred.
