Thank you for your interest in New Graduate Nursing Opportunities at Massachusetts General Hospital! MGH currently has new graduate RN opportunities on various units within the Hospital.
The Transition to Practice Program (TPP) at Massachusetts General Hospital provides a newly licensed nurse (NLN) with a solid foundation that is needed to become an independent and functioning clinician who will deliver safe patient care. The TPP is a 12-month long program utilizing the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program platform and curriculum. Both the TPP and the Vizient program helps to transition newly licensed nurses into their clinical role as a Registered Nurse. The Vizient program includes an evidence-based curriculum as well as an evidence-based practice project. It is designed to improve decision-making skills, enhanced clinical nursing leadership practices, and promote the incorporation of research-based evidence into practice.
Nurse Residents who are involved with the Vizient program benefit from access to benchmarking data, an up-to-date curriculum, and the opportunity to network with peers across the country.

MA RN License and BSN required prior to starting as a RN.
Must be able to work full time (36-40 hours) and work day/night, weekends and holiday rotation
