Job Title - Node.js development
Duration - Contract to hire on W2
Location - Hybrid - Huston , TX (3 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the lead developer to implement new features and performance enhancements to the crew planning application suite
- Work with the business analyst and subject matter experts in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution
- Understand performance issues and approaches to address them systematically
- Understanding of common design patterns and how to implement them
- Creating end to end architecture along with the deployment strategy
- Co-ordinating with other developers and delivering a performant and security-compliant solution to customer
- Taking End to End delivery ownership
- Work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for our users
- Work on support projects if required
- This is a temp-to-perm position
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years total work experience
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Tech or related field
- Min 3 years of experience in Node.js development
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Web development
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
- Working experience using Eclipse IDE and/or intelliJ IDEA
- Experience in GIT, TFS
- Strong working knowledge of RESTful services
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have Requirements:
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with Couchbase
- Experience with Azure DevOps
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Salary: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour
