Nurse Manager

Job Summary

Nurse Supervisor will organize and oversee all nursing operations of the facility. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)
• Assign daily task lists to all shifts.
• Organize and coordinate departmental and client care procedures, including pharmacy and laboratory processes.
• Maintain Departmental compliance.
• Review EMR, Medical Reports, Physician reports daily.
• Resolve issues and deficiencies within the department when needed.
• Manage record-keeping procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
• Guide staffing procedures.
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory/managerial experience
• Great knowledge best practices in healthcare
• Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in healthcare
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
• Great communication and people skills
• Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health.
• Valid nursing license and CPR certification
• Knowledge of Joint Commision Standards.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

• East Stroudsburg, PA 18301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mental & Behavioral Health Faculty: 1 year (Preferred)
• Management: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
