Full-Time and Part time Experienced Nurse Practitioners are needed, to assist patients in the New Orleans, LA area.
Essential daily duties include:
- Provide primary medical care and palliative care for chronic and acute illnesses to patients who are home-bound or have difficulty traveling to a physician’s office
- Provide physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases
- Interpret laboratory and test results
- Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies all with an emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention
Qualifications:
- Current Louisiana license required
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with a variety of situations
- Hospice or Home Health experience preferred
