A new position has become available for an RN House Supervisor to join a team of medical professionals at a critical access facility outside of Old Harbor, Alaska.Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN House Supervisor will assume overall supervision of the hospital in the absence of the executive and administrative team. The RN House Supervisor will collaborate with senior hospital leadership and unit managers to ensure a seamless transition of authority each night and weekend.
The RN House Supervisor will utilize independent judgment and supervisory discretion to oversee and direct hospital personnel. The RN House Supervisor will make regular rounds. The RN House Supervisor will manage bed placement, hospital discharge, and coordinate bed huddles as needed.
