Nursing Instructor needed at a wonderful Technical College near Albany, GA has a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Nursing Instructor to join their team! Great benefits offered.

Salary starting in the low $80,000 Annually (DOE)

Nursing Instructor Opportunity:

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity
• Classes are traditionally Day. Occasional evening classes starting at 5pm.

Nursing Instructor Qualifications:

• Responsible for preforming all aspects of instruction for assigned programs.
• Instructor will develop, modify, and implement educational training that meets both the instructional objectives of the institute and the needs of the students.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses at the college.
• Must be able to perform other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
• Maintains current knowledge in present area of responsibility (i.e. self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time
• Ability to perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision

Nursing Instructor Requirements:

• Must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Current RN license for the state of GA.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within (6) months of hire date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, preferred
• Georgia Stroke Core Curriculum (GSCC) or National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or the ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
