Homedica in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring for an Office Manager/Coder!

Job Duties:
- Organize office flow
- Manage office equipment
- Enter and print appropriate documents as assigned
- Create forms as assigned
- Maintain Human Resources files, including employee time sheets and record of PTO days and usage
- Maintain and update all Medicare and Medicaid manuals as necessary
- Complete Diagnosis coding of all admissions
- Become familiar with Accountable Care Organization (ACO) documentation requirements
- Provide credentialing assistance to corporate staff on all NPs.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Coding degree or certificate required
- Physician office management certification preferred but not required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to use a variety of office machines and office software programs
- At least one year experience in coding and/or office management preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
