Essential Functions:

As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, the Operations Agent will be responsible for providing general administrative support to station operations and departure services. In this position you will perform the following functions:

Competencies:

  • Assist with services contracted by the customer with third parties such as fuel services
  • Ramp services such as fuel reports, flight paperwork, supply ordering
  • Aircraft load controls, flight operations, cargo services and security logs
  • Liaise with local authorities
  • Act as a handling agent for the service provider
  • Inform all interested parties concerning the flight schedules
  • Ensure third parties are informed about operational data in a timely manner
  • Verify preparedness of personnel, equipment and documentation of third parties
  • Meet aircraft on arrival and liaise with the crew
  • Verify dispatch of operational messages
  • Note any irregularities and inform the Carrier
  • When requested by the customer, assist passenger services such as providing assistance for unaccompanied minors, VIP's and transit without visa passengers (TWOVs).

Departure services such as:

  • Perform pre-flight editing
  • Check and ensure tickets are valid for the flights at the gate
  • Weigh and/or measure checked and/or cabin baggage

Compensation:

General Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age
  • High school/GED

Language Ability:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as HR, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency is required in Microsoft Excel and Word, sufficient to write letters, organize schedules, and perform other administrative tasks related to operations.
