SUMMARYReporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations, the Operations Analyst will evaluate the company’s operations and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency. The operations analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing changes and new procedures based on the thorough review and analysis of our current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate complex financial data points to create and implement improved workflows with operations leadership.
- Identify operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather information by observing workflows, reading company reports, conducting employee interviews, etc.
- Determining appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data.
- Managing and planning of small projects that are tied to operations
- Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
- Developing new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
- Working with managers and employees to implement changes.
- Determining the effectiveness of new processes.
- Establishing and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Skilled at communicating with all levels of management, both in written and verbal form
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledgeable in statistics functions and database software.
- Skilled in project management to execute company goals and initiatives
- Ability to understand healthcare dynamics to establish project goals utilizing data and resources available
- Ability to recognize a problem and effectively problem-solve
- Ability to practice professional ethics and use discretion concerning ADCS directives and proprietary information/trade secrets of the organization
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to use appropriately
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change
- Ability to maintain high level of accuracy in all documentation and in the performance of all job duties
- Ability to perform the essential job duties within the scope of education and training
- Degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an operations analyst or in a similar position, at least two years in a healthcare setting, preferred.
Work will be performed remote and in the corporate office. Involves frequent telephone and in-person contact with patients, staff, vendors, providers, and management. Requires some flexibility in working hours. Requires the ability to work in a demanding environment and to effectively resolve conflicts as they arise. Occasional weekend and evening work required. Occasional travel may be required.
