Purpose of Position
To provide an elevated level of focusin Purchasing to support the Site, Operations, and Maintenance groups. Manage all system information related to IM&S purchasing.
Duties
Manage life cycle of all POs for Maintenance group. Create POs for labor and parts, price adjustments, and perform GRs. Check shipping dock for ordered parts and prepare for Maintenance. Take care of all Capex POs ensuring that documentation is correct; quotes and invoices have been received, and expedite advance payments as necessary. Problem resolve on invoices with vendors & GBS.
Responsible to order and stock all office supplies, breakroom necessities, and production material/equipment for the site and Operations. Prepare purchasing requisitions and obtain price quotes from vendors and suppliers. Expedite delivery when necessary.
Create maintenance work notifications. Handle all reports, sheets, and other documentation (from inspections/calibrations) and scan, save, attach, and file accordingly. Input Maintenance schedule on a weekly basis and prepare for supervisor.
Vendor relations and contractor scheduling - keep Maintenance apprised of schedules and call for service and quotes. Contact vendors for final invoices, manage vendor contact list and update SAP.
Back up to Site Administrator and functions of that role as needed.
Minimum Education/Experience/Skills/Job Knowledge/:
High School diploma or equivalent, 2-5 years related experience, ideally in a production/manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Proficient in Google and Microsoft platforms, plus prior experience with SAP is highly preferred. Must possess an ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business needs. Commitment to quality service, effective communication skills, flexibility, and a responsive approach to all customer needs is required.
