Eaton’s B-Line division is currently seeking a Operations Manager.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Operations Manager will provide operations leadership for the Reno, NV facility to enable production, empower the High Performing Work Teams (HPWT), and drive functional excellence throughout the plant.
- Manage and direct site in achieving operational targets & objectives.
- Support Eaton MESH (Management of Environment Safety & Health) through ownership of the MESH elements.
- Work closely with cross-functional leadership team.
- Mentor & develop production supervisors and team leaders.
- Monitor and measure progress toward quality objectives and facilitate development of action plans to address root causes of negative trends and variances to the objectives.
- Maintain & support Eaton’s internal quality expectations.
- Promote a Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement culture by demonstrating ownership and accountability throughout the supported value streams.
- Participate in the planning, development, and execution of short-term tactical and long-term strategic plans to meet value stream objectives.
- Ensure appropriate quality processes and tools are in place and being utilized consistently, facilitating training as appropriate.
- Be responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
- Other various duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading salaried and hourly employees
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Relocation benefit is being offered for this position for candidates outside of a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business management or engineering
- 6+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience leading salaried and hourly employees
- Leadership experience in high accountability culture and metrics driven environment
- Experience with lean tools, continuous improvement or project management
- Experience in a high mix / low-volume manufacturing environment
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
- Experience using SAP
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and successfully lead and implement change activities
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with all levels of employees
- Ability to motivate other employees to assume responsibility for operation programs and provide guidance to the requirements
