Miraval Berkshires, is seeking experienced, highly motivated, team-centered, and forward-thinking individuals for the role of Outdoor Adventure Guide and Guide Assist.

About the Department:

We pride ourselves on our dynamic group of Outdoor Adventure team members that includes a strong team of 30+ professionals. We support multiple programs spanning across all disciplines of paddle sports, hiking, archery, hatchet throwing, mountain biking, challenge course activities and beyond.

About the Position:

The expectation is that the chosen candidate will bring energy, a willingness to grow, creative ideas, and commitment to the team. Outdoor guides are responsible for enhancing the guest’s stay by guiding them through various activities that bring them closer to nature and creating an experience that embodies Miraval’s purpose. Assistants have the opportunity to learn more about the outdoor adventure offerings, assist as an extra set of hand with activities and help where needed. Guides should have experience I one or more of the following activities: hiking, paddle boarding, biking, archery, hatchet throwing, kayaking, various ropes course activities.

For Guides

• WFR or higher Certification
• Knowledge or trail systems, biking routes, and rivers
• Desired - ropes course and vertical application
• Lifeguard Certification
• Demonstrated relative experience in Outdoor Adventure fields to include: hiking, biking, challenge courses, climbing, paddle sports, archery, etc.
• The Outdoor Adventure Guide will foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration and teamwork.
• The individual should be capable of lifting moderate loads and performing equipment set-ups for various activities.
• American Red Cross AED, CPR and First Aid certification required or the ability to obtain within six months of hire date.
