Restland is HIRING - Multiple COMMUNITY SERVICE ADVISORS - Outside Sales

Working Territory/Location: DALLAS, TX

Pay Range: $45,000 - $100,000 annually

Part-Time

As an Independent Sales Contractor for Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, you’ll provide the most meaningful and necessary gift anyone could receive.

• Helping families plan for their future by creating a clear road map to having their wishes honored.
• We build relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their preplanning decisions.
• With more and more families electing to pre-plan and prepay their funeral and cemetery arrangements, you will see a long-term career ahead of you that will never be replaced by technology or automation.
• This is a people business, and it always will be.

Responsibilities:

• Actively build relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their preplanning decisions.
• Excel in his/her ability to set an appointment, give a preplanning guide presentation.
• Utilize our proprietary software, Navigator, to complete contracts timely, and accurately.
• Actively track all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and areas that need improvement.
• Track all contacts and ensure professional follow-up.
• Prospect regularly using multiple methods including cold calling, mailers, seminars, and outside events.
• Provide world class customer service, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do “Whatever it takes.”
• Keep current in areas as they relate to our profession (veteran’s benefits, social security benefits, end of life decisions, etc.)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean) is a plus.
• Discipline, high energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people skills; high emotional intelligence
• Must be able to work independently and take minimal direction.
• Strong ability to earn trust and use consultative selling techniques.
• Ability to effectively present to groups of people
• Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community.
• Experience handling difficult situations with confidence and compassion.
• Must have reliable transportation,
• Valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

• Dallas, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
