Outside Sales Representative - Communications (Broadband)
Job description
Bring your business acumen and expertise in outside sales with broadband products to an emerging industry leader. GCG (Genuine Cable Group) is hiring experienced Outside Sales Representatives to develop new customer relationships and accounts, and expand our customer base, in our broadband business, covering Alabama and Mississippi, as well as additional customers in Louisiana and the panhandle region of Florida.
In this role, you will flex your sales skills to identify, develop, and close profitable growth opportunities. You will also continually develop your understand of GCG's products as well as our customer's business needs.
This role offers a fully remote work arrangement for qualified candidates living in one of the states/areas in the territory described above.
What You'll Do
- Prospect for new customers
- Build and expand on relationships with existing customers
- Meet and exceed revenue and growth goals
- Negotiate contracts
- Travel as needed
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales of broadband cable products
- Proven track record of sustained over-quota performance
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation capabilities
- Demonstrated self-motivation, results orientation, and collaboration skills and abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
- Significant organization and time management skills
- Degree in a related field helpful, but not required
- Competitive annual base salary and commission plan
