As an Academy Trainer, you will teach and train associates on process guides utilizing the Academy App.​

You are an expert of your area and you train Team Associates on the process guides so that they understand the correct way to perform their job. You work alongside Team Associates and you will lead special projects for the Team Lead and provide feedback on processes. You are the manager in charge when the Team Lead is off.

Job Responsibilities

• You equip associates with the skills and equipment required to succeed​. Teaching associates how to use company equipment to properly stock freight.
• You own the training and upskilling of your team​
• Including ULearn completion/Academy app training and follow up​
• You do the work in your area​
• You demonstrate end-to-end ownership of your area, helping to drive productivity and results​
• You facilitate the Daily Huddle when the Team Lead is out, and participate in daily meetings with your team​
• You maintain high standards, adopt new initiatives, keep your area clean, and help to execute flawlessly​
• You support and motivate others​
• You communicate with your teammates in a professional manner ​
• You solve problems​
• You are a key holder in the building
• You may be Manager on Duty in the absence of Team Lead or Coach​

How you Contribute to Team Success​

• You attend daily huddles and lead them in your Team Leads absence​
• You help your teammates execute designated SWARMs​
• You elevate feedback to the Team Lead to help them develop the team and address issues​
• You identify training gaps with team associates and upskill them​
• You create training development plans for new team associates​
• You reinforce the goals set by your Team Lead and influence the team to achieve those goals​
• You recognize associates for a job well done when they learn new tasks and perform them well​
• You are responsible to equip Team Associates with multiple skills to be successful in their area​

Overnight Stocking Team

Mission: Ensure items are available for the customer​

• The team attends the daily huddle to understand the plan for the day​
• The team SWARMs freight as needed​
• The team provides customer service ​before we close at 11pm and reopen at 6am
• The team stocks freight​
• The team verifies and puts away overstock​
• The team completes a total store zone​
• The team completes maintenance tasks​ assigned by management
• The team unload trucks, down stack pallets, stock freight
• You sync with the team lead for the evening huddle kick-off. You plan my day around my area of responsibility. You are aware of training opportunities with team associates and upskill them.​
• You reinforce the goals set by your team lead and influence the team to achieve those goals.​
• You recognize associates for a job well done when they learn new tasks and perform them well.​
• You are responsible for equipping associates with multiple skills to be successful in their area.​
