Position Details:
PAR/Biller, Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, Set schedule
Non-Exempt, Hourly, Union

Position Summary:
Responsible for daily operational revenue posting and providing daily revenue control reports. Conduct insurance billings for multiple states with proper documentation and coding. Provide office assistance to Director of Business Office as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Previous professional office experience. Knowledge of insurance billings, codes, policies & procedures.

Job Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of hospital billing regulations preferred. Requires knowledge of and is expected to follow hospital policies.

Advanced computer and calculator/adding machine skills required. Must demonstrate professional office skills. Must work with people in a tactful, diplomatic and professional manner. Must have good cashiering skills, precise clear recording, and accurate accounting reports. Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment & contribute to existing work force. Must be efficient and knowledgeable in all phases of hospital rules and regulations.
