Groups Recover Together was founded in 2014 to make treatment for opioid addiction respectful, accessible and affordable. We empower our members to regain control of their lives through a combination of community support, outpatient weekly group therapy and medication to manage withdrawal using buprenorphine and naltrexone.

At Groups, the Partnerships Director, Execution Markets will report into the Growth Organization and directly to the SVP, Business Development. The Partnership Director, Execution Markets will manage a team of highly skilled Business Development Managers and be responsible for building a strong network of referrals that drive scheduled intakes while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Become a trusted expert in Groups mission and treatment model. Effectively articulate what makes Groups unique/differentiates us from competitors to diverse target audiences (healthcare professionals, criminal justice, payers, case managers, etc.)
- Form a deep understanding of your markets and identify what new channel opportunities exist to drive scheduled intakes and overall brand awareness.
- Create outreach strategies for your team to attract new referral partners and drive scheduled intakes.
- Structure and execute the emerging market playbook by partnering with local field staff to identify, develop, and cultivate a community network and pipeline of business/referral opportunities (e.g., health systems, correctional facilities, community based services).
- Own stakeholder mapping exercise to ensure top targets are properly identified through new market research and remain relevant for your business development team.
- Responsible for 1:1 coaching sessions with Business Development Managers.
- Lead Business Development syncs to ensure internal stakeholders are (1)briefed on market development, (2) know what’s going well, (3) what needs to shift, and (4) what needs to be done to own/win referral relationships.
- Implement unique/creative strategies to empower the Business Development team to engage with operational/field staff and community partners.
- Use creativity to incentivise Business Development Managers to locate new and exciting referral channels.
- Educate new operational staff on outreach targets, techniques, and strategies to identify and engage community stakeholders.
- Attend presentations, conferences, and local or regional events as needed to increase community and brand awareness for Groups. When necessary, bring clinical and operational leaders (subject matter experts) to support your attendance.
- Be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks while the team is growing.
- BS/BA required and 5+ years of business development, leadership, and strategic growth experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of successful relationship building and working well across internal and external teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, mission driven organization
- Experience working with grassroots marketing in multi-location organization
- Experience establishing and executing against organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities and effectively manage tasks/projects while being responsive and flexible to new situations.
- Experienced customer relationship management (CRM) software user. Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own transportation to travel.
