Job description

Parts department clerk (full-time) needed for busy television and appliance repair company. We do not sell parts to the general public. This is an internal position supporting our overall goal of repairing the consumer products and companies we represent.

SUMMARY: Qualified candidates must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, strong attention to detail, be good with numbers, computer experience, clean driving record, excellent communication skills, professional appearance, be able to pass a preemployment background/drug screen, and a desire to grow in their career with a company that is a leader in the local TV and appliance repair industry. Industry experience would be helpful but is not required.

JOB DUTIES: Receiving parts, ordering parts, assigning parts to work orders from inventory, returning parts to suppliers, picking parts for technician schedules, verifying inventory stock levels, restocking parts from technicians, helping field service personnel upon request and various other duties as assigned. Clerk must maintain a clean and organized parts area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS To adequately perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, twist, use hands, hear, and talk. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to climb ladders and work in warm and cool environments. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level is usually moderate but will vary. Continual interruptions and changing priorities will daily challenge an employee

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
