Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift, 5 – 8hr shifts, 11:00AM-7:00PM

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred

Experience

• 3 Years Hospital Experience Required

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process:

• Reviews, researches, and evaluates complaints and inquiries.
• Prioritizes concerns in multiple or complex issues.
• Oversees referral, investigation, and resolution of complaints.
• Responds to government or regulatory complaints.
• Responds to government or regulatory agencies as needed. Identifies problems and works with those involved to implement changes and solutions.
• Follows CMS guidelines.
• Documents 100% of complaints received.
• Provides data for centralized database of patient complaints and assists with reporting of patient satisfaction/patient complaints as requested.
• Acts as an Advocate for patients
• Makes referrals to appropriate hospital and community resources.
• Acts as a liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
• Serves as resource person for hospital staff, medical staff, and physician's office staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
