Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct, routine patient care activities for patients to promote comfort, maintain or enhance their function abilities and contribute to their overall plan of care. In addition, they will perform receptionist and clerical duties for nursing service including pharmacy coding, communication tasks, transcription, typing and computer entry. Knowledge of facility procedure, standing orders, phone and paging system is imperative.
Education and/or Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- One month related experience and/or training preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Nursing assistant certification preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule
- PRN – Casual/ Fill in as needed.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00
