GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Patient Engagement Coordinator is principally responsible for raising patient/ client numbers, revenue and expanding business opportunities that allow the organization to achieve and sustain its mission. The BDR achieves these goals by creating and executing an ethical business strategy to a) expand existing clientele relationships and market and b) identify and secure opportunities with new business partners (e.g., restaurants, community partners and organizations) through business service contracts and/or private-pay services plans.
Empower U Community Health Center (EUCHC) connects families as well as individuals to a vast range of services at its health center. Our health care team renders a vast range of ambulatory/ outpatient services including acute and primary care, laboratory, medical case management, community social services, behavioral health, imaging, and wellness. EUCHC was established with a mission is to empower, educate, and promote better health care choices for individuals and families. EUCHC is built upon a quality model that emphasizes the concept of continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Increases business by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with local business and community partners.
- Identifies new clients/ patients through targeted markets and manages existing relationships to maximize business opportunity and support the organization's volume and revenue goals.
- Acts as liaison between leadership, operations, and clients to maintain or increase business, resolve issues and/or remove obstacles to business growth.
- Performs a variety of customer service and program or service education on behalf of the organization.
- Builds partnerships and strategic alliances that will extend the organization’s brand in the community and increase avenues of support
- Stays abreast of developments in the health care environment locally, regionally, and nationally to help guide our agency’s core mission and strategy
- Generates positive community awareness of the organization, its mission and impact, and strengthens its brand and reputation with business partners, clients and the community we serve.
- Manages the production and distribution of quality collateral materials that support development and marketing goals.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing plan in collaboration with the organization’s CEO, COO and other key staff, as needed.
