Job Summary
The Patient Services Program Manager PSPM within Eisai Market Access will oversee day-to-day program operations of Eisai patient support programs to assure quality and business rules compliance. This role will work to identify continuous improvement opportunities and escalate as appropriate. The PSPM will be responsible for building internal processes and documentation to assure successful program oversight. The PSPM will conduct routine call monitoring and review of external vendors. The PSPM will build budget requirements/proposals and track program operational costs and FTEs. The PSPM will partner with the field-based access & reimbursement team to resolve patient/provider issues. This role will be a part of the strategy/program development process by sharing feedback and ideas.
This position will work cross-functionally with applicable Eisai stakeholders to include other Market Access teams, Compliance, Legal, Training and Internal Audit.
Essential Functions (job duties)
  • Consistently demonstrate uncompromised integrity while working cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory parameters related to patient access and support program services. Comply with all Eisai promotional and administrative policies and applicable law.
  • Day-to-day patient support program oversight for programs such as co-pay programs and hub services
  • Identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Escalated case resolution and reporting
  • Audit preparedness
  • Ongoing review of program performance to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Budget and invoice oversight and escalation
  • Development of resources and materials for program operations including materials used by field teams (e.g., Access & Reimbursement Managers)
  • Compliance Review Committee (CRC) submission and approval of program resources (AKA Medical, Legal, Regulatory Review process)
  • Lead the development and execution of the Annual Reverification process
Requirements (Experience, Education, Skills, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working in Pharmaceuticals or Reimbursement, or Patient Services
  • 1-5 years of operational experience
  • Experience managing a team of Case Managers, Patient Service Representatives, or similar role (preferred)
  • Experience identifying/reporting on Patient Support Program metrics and communicating trends
  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Internet experience; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Remote based job requiring travel to the home office and vendor sites (20%-40%)
