Patient Service Representative (Central Scheduler)
Comprehensive Urologic Care is looking for experienced Patient Service Representatives to join our Call Center Desk Team!

Comprehensive Urologic Care (CUC) has been treating patients in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs and surrounding area for over 40 years. While remaining an independent, private practice, CUC is affiliated with Advocate Aurora Good Shepherd Hospital and Ascension St. Alexius Medical Center. CUC’s mission is to provide the best urologic care available in the Chicago area. Our team is dedicated to treating patients with compassion and respect.

Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) in our call center are responsible for to handling inbound and outbound calls (averaging 50-60 calls per day), ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience. PSR's enter correct patient demographic information, including insurance information, into PM and EMR systems. PSRs provide assistance, resolve issues, schedule appointments, and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers. There will also be opportunity to cross train into our Medical Receptionist department and learn the role of front desk.

• Strong active listening skills and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to project a pleasant and professional attitude while managing multiple priorities.
• The ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in interacting with others.

Other Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of relevant work experience in a health care organization
• Working knowledge of insurance practices including verification
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn company systems
• Proficiency with PM and EMR systems such as InPracsys and Centricity
• Some coding knowledge, including the appropriate use of modifiers
• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, Cybersecurity and FWA practices

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
