Role: Contract Payroll Specialist
Location: Auburndale, MA – 100% onsite
Hours: 9:00a – 5:00p
Duration: 2-3 months + (this client is potentially looking to outsource payroll. If this is the case, contract will be 2-3 months, if kept in house, there is the possibility of this role converting to permanent) even if they do outsource, that process would take 8 weeks and they would be apart of that process
Pay: $28-31/hr.

Role: Contract Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:
- Manage the production and processing of the weekly payroll.
- Assist with 401k tasks and reporting as needed.
- Sole contact for the payroll department
- Process payroll for 135 employees (hourly an salary employees) Primarily at one location, but there are a few outliers for additional employees who are already set up in ADP
- Non-union
- Responsible for payroll deductions, entering PTO, scheduling
- Must have an understanding of time differentials
- Run manual payroll checks as needed
- Backup to AP
- Assist with wire approvals as needed.
- Perform scanning and filing functions for the Finance department
- Cross train on a variety of tasks within the Finance department in order to provide cover for vacations, etc. as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Payroll Specialist
- 2+ years full cycle payroll
- Proficient in ADP, preferably ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- Our client is looking for someone who understands time differentials, deductions, PTO, Scheduling
- Looking for an expert in all aspects of payroll processing
