WORK DESCRIPTION:

The Performance Optimization Manager manages the day-to day analysis and optimization of an organization’s business processes to improve overall organization performance.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of other software packages.
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, self-starter, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to understand and implement air carrier, airport and government agencies requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarization with Airport SOP’s
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with operational leaders to ensure operational performance disciplines align with business and account strategies
  • Apply analytics and data mining techniques to solve complex problems, drive business decisions and identify major gaps and opportunities
  • Track and measure all performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire performance optimization process
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Work closely with various internal and external project managers to support new business opportunity startups
  • Create and maintain reporting visualizations for KPI metrics
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Speak and understand English.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, 10-year background check (criminal/employment) and be able to obtain a required airport security clearance.
  • Must have a VALID Driver's License for at least 1 full year with a clean driving record. (License cannot have any restrictions).
  • 5-7 years of exp in Operations and/or Quality Control in aviation services

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in both a professional office environment and an outdoor operations environment, which is exposed to outdoor weather conditions (temperatures ranging from 20-105 degrees Fahrenheit). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position of 40hrs/week. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent after hours or weekend work.

TRAVEL:

Travel is generally required 25% and up to 70% of the time.
